Output settings

Compare actual output sizes after compression. If the format and dimensions stay the same and the candidate is no smaller, you receive the exact original, including its metadata. A requested resize or format change is exported even when it increases the file size.

Your files stay on this device.

Three small steps.

  1. Choose up to 20 supported images, no more than 100 MB combined.
  2. Set quality and optional maximum dimensions. Keep the source format or convert.
  3. Compress, inspect the image and size comparison, and download each result or a ZIP.

A few things to know.

Each input is limited to 25 MB, 24 megapixels, and 12,000 pixels per side. Encoded output is capped at 100 MB. PNG quality is not adjustable. No exact file size is guaranteed. A same-format, same-dimension candidate that is not smaller returns the exact original, including its metadata; requested resizing and format changes are still exported even if larger.

A little more clarity.

Why was my original returned?

It was no larger than the candidate, and no dimensions or format change was requested. The exact original bytes, dimensions, and metadata are retained. The result is labeled unchanged.

Is every result smaller?

No. Compression depends on the content, encoder, and chosen settings. Converting or resizing can increase the byte size; those results are labeled larger when appropriate. JPEG and WebP quality is lossy; inspect fine details before replacing originals.
