A few things to know.
One still image up to 25 MB, 24 megapixels, and 12,000 pixels per side. Coordinates refer to the decoded, oriented source. Cropping happens before rotation and flips; horizontal/vertical flips apply after rotation. Re-encoding removes original camera metadata. PNG retains alpha; JPG flattens it onto your chosen background.

Can I crop without dragging?
Yes. The X, Y, width, and height fields are keyboard accessible. X and Y start at the top-left corner of the oriented source. The result must remain inside its bounds.
Will cropping reduce image quality?
Cropping at original resolution does not resize the selected region. JPG and WebP encoding can be lossy; choose PNG to retain the rendered pixels and transparency. Original color profiles and camera metadata are not copied.
