A few things to know.
Up to 1 million characters per side. The comparison works on whole lines; it shows which lines differ, not which words inside a line. Texts that differ in more than about 2,000 lines on each side are refused rather than compared slowly. Line endings are treated alike. Nothing is uploaded.

Are my texts uploaded to compare them?
No. Both texts stay in this browser tab and the comparison runs on your device.
Can it show changes inside a line?
Not in this version. A line with any difference is shown as one removed line and one added line.
What do the two columns of numbers mean?
The first is the line number in the original text and the second in the changed text. A removed line has only the first and an added line only the second.
