A few things to know.
Up to 5,000 practice characters. A character is a visible grapheme cluster; spacing, case and punctuation count. WPM is correctly matched characters divided by five and elapsed minutes, not a count of dictionary words. Accuracy compares the current answer with the same positions in the passage. Corrected mistakes are not retained. This measures a practice session, not a certified assessment; input methods and text difficulty affect comparisons.

How is typing speed calculated?
Correctly matched characters ÷ 5 ÷ elapsed minutes. Characters per minute uses all characters currently typed. The timer starts when you press Start test and continues while the tab is in the background.
Can I practice in another language?
Yes. Replace the passage with your own text. The test compares visible characters and supports input methods for different scripts.
