Word to PDF
Read the text of a DOCX document on your device, review or edit it, and create a PDF with A4 pages. Paragraphs and table-cell text are extracted; original formatting and images are omitted.

DOCX text only: images and original formatting are omitted. PDF pages contain rendered text images.
Three small steps.
- Choose a DOCX file up to 10 MB and read its text.
- Review the extracted paragraphs and table-cell text; edit it if needed.
- Create the PDF and download it after checking the result.
A few things to know.
DOCX only, not legacy DOC, encrypted files or macros. Up to 10 MB input, 10 MB document XML, 100,000 text characters and 50 output pages. Headers, footers, images, charts, links, comments, tracked deletions and original styling are omitted. Text is reflowed in a browser font onto A4 pages. PDF pages contain images of the rendered text, so their text is not selectable, searchable or tagged for screen readers. Use a word processor when you need faithful layout or an accessible PDF.

Will the PDF retain my Word layout?
No. This is a text conversion: review the extracted content before creating the PDF. It does not reproduce Word's pagination, fonts or images.
Is my document uploaded?
No. DOCX reading, editing and PDF creation happen in this browser tab. Your document and edits are not saved by the site.
